Apex EVENTS
OUR EVENTS bring together competitors, community and charity. All events are hosted by Apex Fitness and benefit a different charity in each stage. All events follow with lunch, games and raffles. if there are two things we are good at it is working out and throwing parties! So come out bring the family and enjoy some fun!
Trail - Spring
We team up our Apex Scholarship Fund and the Amy Marie Crabtree Foundation for a fun but challenging 5k trail run/walk that incorporates trails, wooden bridges, fields, and some wildlife sightings. All proceeds are donated to our "family charities" the Amy Marie Crabtree Foundation which benefits brain cancer research, local underprivileged children, domestic abuse victims and local animal shelters as well as our scholarship fund. Come out and experience the #1 rated XC competition trail in all of New York State. We follow the 5k with a grand BBQ experience with raffles and games. Our 3nd annual event in 2022 brought out 150 participants and raised $10,000 for the foundations.

ASF FLAG FOOTBALL - Summer
Our Second event of the year is our flag football league the benefits our apex scholarship fund, a 501c3 not for profit. this league includes some of the best athletes in the area and always provides some high energy games. We select four captains and hold a live draft with 11 rounds of 4 pics. Teams names chosen in inaugural season still stand today; Team Rogue, Jalapenos, Greyhoundz and Snowbunnies. It is the captain’s job to each hit their fundraising goal of $1000+ by end of our 4 week season. At the end of the regular season the 2 teams with most wins and points go on to the championship game under the lights on our hometown contest field.

Homecoming tailgate - Fall
This event is our annual fundraiser for our hometown football team’s non for profit the JOHN JAY TOUCHDOWN CLUB. This charity does all the fundraising for the football program from youth all the way up to the varsity level. Join us for a tailgate prior to the homecoming game with food, drinks, lawn games, face painting and a whole lot of fun. Event date changes depending on homecoming game.
